Chris Rondeau is a PhD Student and researcher at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Dayton, OH. He works under the Radio Frequency Intelligence (RFINT) research area led by Dr. Mike Temple. Chris’ research is an extension of the work previously done by Dr. Juan Lopez of Oakridge National Labs, and is focused on the exploitation of the physical-layer characteristics of the WirelessHART protocol for the purposes of instituting a passive, non-intrusive “monitor” system into a variety of Critical Infrastructure and Key Resource (CIKR) security applications. Chris has 14 years of DoD experience, and has worked as developmental engineer, program manager, and flight test engineer.
