Mr. Haughey completed Telecommunications Technology from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. He holds over 35 years of experience specializing in Industrial Control System design, programming and commissioning on a variety of systems. He has worked on projects in Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Power Utility, Pipeline, Oil Sands, Off Shore, Water/ Wastewater Treatment and Food and Beverage. Paul has managed several projects assisting clients to meet NERC CIP regulatory requirements, develop incident response plans, perform gap analysis, remediation and internal compliance program development using the NIST framework. With experience working on safety instrumented systems, HMI/SCADA, programmable logic controllers, software development, embedded systems and Cyber security. He has built a number of Home Automation systems using embedded controller platforms. He has taught Distributed Control Systems (DCS) classes at the local college. Paul has started two automation companies over the past fifteen years and is currently working at BBA in Calgary, Alberta as an Automation and ICS Cybersecurity Lead.
