Anuj Sanghvi is an Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Researcher and Network Security Engineer with the Cybersecurity Science and Simulation group at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. He leads the research and development of NREL’s Distributed Energy Resources Cybersecurity Framework (DERCF), and his expertise is in identifying security controls for and testing of industrial control systems. As a research engineer, Sanghvi has done intensive technical research in building tailored security controls for renewable energy assets. Sanghvi's portfolio of research also includes conducting cybersecurity analysis on operational technologies such as EV/EVSE system, wind turbines and other electric grid devices along with developing mitigating courses of actions. He has extensive experience with NIST 800 series, ISO/IEC standards, and other compliance oriented requirements.
