John Allen, a strategic consultant in Manufacturing IT bringing leadership in technology, process and culture across OT Cyber Security, Digital Transformation, M&A and Applications Systems. John started his career in IT Operations within the Aerospace industry and then moved into IT Service within Infrastructure. John then spent 23yrs in Pharma for GSK across Infrastructure, Application Services, Architecture, M&A and then a long period in Manufacturing IT supporting both Systems and Business partnering. His last 7 years were as a VP and he spent the last 2yrs reporting into the Global CISO for GSK leading the global GSK program to transform OT Security across factories, Labs and R&D. In this time, John reset the global OT security program leveraging a risk based framework, prioritizing deployment of solutions to reduce risk across, People, Process and Technology and established an OT Security Operating Model for how IT and OT groups would work together to sustain the risk reduction and operations in a new cyber focused environment.
